
Violeta Yovcheva, World Bank Group
Violeta is a highly motivated project manager and consultant with experience across the EU and the US.
She is currently responsible for delivering small and medium-size software applications within an international development institution.
As a consultant she spent years enabling organisations deliver their projects successfully, working with both small and large-scale clients in the financial, telecom, travel, logistics and public industries. She has been involved at different change management initiatives wearing the hats of various roles from business analyst to project and program manager. A valuable experience for her was being the first employee on the ground and playing an instrumental role in setting up and building the foundations of a professional services company in Sofia, Bulgaria, contributing to a growing strong 35+ professionals of outstanding local talent.
Violeta is an avid runner looking forward to the next marathon and a firm believer that growth comes when one does the things that scare them. She is passionate about travel, trekking, hiking and the intersections between cultures, attitudes and flavours. She is an Unsettled brand ambassador and a volunteer at the Association of Bulgarian Leaders and Entrepreneurs, currently an active member at the ABLE Activator entrepreneurship program.
